River restoration and bank stabilization
October 20-21 in Big Sky, Montana
Funded and sponsored by the Montana Water Center, Gallatin River Task Force, Montana Department of Environmental Quality, and the Montana Wetland Council, this two-day classroom and field course will examine the science and application of dynamic river restoration techniques with an emphasis on willow identification, harvesting, and planting. This course is free of cost and open to public and will be held in Big Sky, MT on October 20-21, 2016.
